Jan '26 Women Who Inspire!

Meet Kayliegh:

"If I could tell the women—and even the dads—reading this anything, it would be that your commitment to being present for both your passion and your children is up to you. Pray about it, trust the process, and know that God makes things possible beyond what you could ever imagine. Turn nervousness into excitement, form your own opinions, and push your limits.... "

FULL STORY HERE:

"My name is Kayliegh, but I go by KK LOVE. I am a 27-year-old singer, model, artist, and mother who grew up in the Big Bear Mountains of California.

I create and perform my own music as a singer-songwriter, write songs for other artists, and work as a plus-size model. I also hold a position in the healthcare field. As a toddler, I never wanted to be anything other than a singer. It has been such a blessing and an accomplishment to stay committed to my passion into adulthood, all while raising my own children.

Becoming a plus-size model is something that happened naturally in the middle of my music career, and I ended up falling in love with it as well. Being able to tell stories through my lyrics, then creatively direct and pose an image that continues that story, feels magical to me.

When I’m not singing on stage or doing a photo shoot, I run several entrepreneurial side businesses and guide my children’s careers. They are currently releasing books on Amazon and modeling, all while being under the age of 10. Because of this, my schedule is absolutely crazy. Over the last three years, I also decided to take on a healthcare position and recently graduated with an associate’s degree.

I really try to be as open and honest about my story as I can with my fans and friends, especially about the struggles of being both a mom and an artist. I also want to give women the opportunity to walk alongside me as we learn to understand, embrace, and truly adore our bodies as they change.

I didn’t have an easy childhood, so I had to fight to develop the drive and hustle it takes to become an artist and stick with it. On days when I feel less confident about my body—like when I’m walking a runway and I’m the only plus-size model, which happens more often than people think—I remind myself what a blessing it is to sometimes be the only one. It allows me to represent others and help change perspectives by walking with my head held high and loving my body in the present, regardless of my surroundings.

My goal is always that someone I connect with, in any way, feels loved, motivated, or inspired to begin their own journey toward believing that more is possible. When I first had my kids, especially as a young mom, many people assumed I would give up on art completely. Instead, it made me go even harder. There was no way I was going to let my children think they did anything other than motivate and push me to keep sharing the happiness that comes from following your dreams.

If I could tell the women—and even the dads—reading this anything, it would be that your commitment to being present for both your passion and your children is up to you. Pray about it, trust the process, and know that God makes things possible beyond what you could ever imagine. Turn nervousness into excitement, form your own opinions, and push your limits."
